Nadine Higgin

Nadine Higgin is a professional actor with over 17 years experience across stage and screen.

Nadine trained in Musical Theatre at ArtsEd and has since worked extensively in some of the UK’s

most respected theatres, she most recently played Theo Dane in Ballet Shoes at the National

Theatre and is set to reprise the role this coming winter. Other notable roles include Sir Toby Belch

in Twelfth Night, Paulina in The Winter’s Tale and Egeus/ Peter Quince in A Midsummer Nights

Dream at Shakespeare’s Globe; Alma in Yellowman at The Orange Tree Theatre, Tituba in The

Crucible at The Gielgud Theatre, Paulette in Legally Blonde at Regents Park Open Air Theatre and

Shenzi in The Lion King at The Lyceum Theatre. Nadine was also in the original West End casts of

Legally Blonde at The Savoy Theatre and The Book of Mormon at The Prince of Wales Theatre.

Alongside her acting career, Nadine has a strong background in Actor development and audition

preparation. She has coached both emerging and professional actors through drama school

auditions, professional castings and recalls, oﬀering clear, honest and empowering feedback. Her

previous role as Head of Year at one of London’s leading drama schools, combined with her

experience working behind the table in both theatre and screen audition rooms gives her unique

insight into how actors can show up at their best. As an adjudicator and workshop practitioner for

MTI’s Junior Theatre Festivals, Nadine has also honed a highly personal and supportive approach

to mentoring young performers.

Nadine is passionate about helping actors and aspiring performers of all ages build confidence,

engage with their material in a meaningful way and take the next steps towards their goals,

whether thats training, performing or simply reconnecting with their creativity. Her approach is

always personally tailored, thoughtful, and rooted in creating a safe, supportive space to take

risks, learn more about themselves and enjoy the process as they grow as artists
