HOW TO USE YOUR DMA MEMBERSHIP


STEP 1 -

To become a member of DMA  all actors must attend a 60 min assessment session which can be scheduled here: 

STEP 2 -

Once you have completed your 60 min DMA Membership Assessment session you can choose a DMA membership plan that best suits you.

CHOOSE FROM:

STEP 3 - 

When your membership is set up you will receive an automatic email with a unique code that you will use every time you schedule your coaching sessions.

STEP 4 - 

Book in your coaching sessions

Choose a coach from our DMA faculty and schedule your first DMA member coaching session.

We recommend scheduling a MENTORING session as your first session to get to know your coach and create a bespoke 3 month plan that focuses on your personal career goals.

STEP 5 - 

To schedule a session you will be asked to complete the following Actors Profile:

PAYMENT - 

When you get to the payment option you will see’ REDEEM PACKAGE OR GIFT CERTIFICATE’ this is where you will enter your unique membership code. 

This code must be entered every time you book a session or you may be charged for late payments.

Once your session is booked you will receive a confirmation email.

STEP 6 - 

We recommend scheduling your coaching sessions at the beginning of each month or on the date of your monthly membership payment. If you would like the same weekly coaching slot you can select RECURRING 

STEP 7 - 

What’s not included in your membership:

  • Industry consultations and mentoring with DMA Founder Dominique Moore are not included in your membership and must be must be booked and paid for separately: 

FAQ - 

  • Can I use my Membership for online or studio coaching sessions?

You can use your membership for BOTH! Book in online (zoom) sessions and in person (DMA Studio) sessions each month.

  • Can I use my Membership to prepare for auditions?

Yes, as soon as you receive an audition it’s a great idea to book a session with one of our coaches so we can help you.

  • If I don't use all of my Membership Minutes in the month will they carry over?

No, you must use your membership time within the month before your next payment date.

  • Can I still book in extra coaching once I have used all of my time for the month?

Yes, however you will have to make an additional payment for these sessions at the time of booking.

  • Can I pause my Membership?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a pause option for DMA membership. Our structure is designed to cater to actors seeking long-term professional training and development.

If you decide to cancel your membership, please note that you will be required to attend another DMA Member assessment before regaining membership status.

Instead of canceling outright, we recommend downgrading your membership. This way, you can still benefit from regular coaching sessions. To downgrade, simply cancel your current membership plan and set up a new one according to your preferences.

  • Should I cancel my DMA Membership when I book a job?

We understand the excitement of landing a job in the industry! However, we highly recommend keeping your membership active even when you're booked on a project. Here's why:

When you book a professional job, it's not just about being on set—it's about continuously honing your craft and preparing for the role. Our coaches are here to support you every step of the way. Whether you're on location, in your trailer, or at home, our experienced team can provide invaluable advice on navigating the film and TV industry.

Need help with script preparation? Character development? Or just want to discuss what it's like being on set? Our coaches are well-versed in remote coaching via Zoom, accommodating different time zones to ensure you receive the guidance you need, wherever you are.

So, instead of cancelling your membership, work with your DMA coach to enhance your performance and make the most out of every opportunity that comes your way.
