HOW TO USE YOUR DMA MEMBERSHIP

Step 1 — Your First Steps Meeting

All DMA members begin with a 60-minute First Steps meeting. This is where we meet you and your parent/guardian (if under 18), learn more about your journey, and ensure DMA is the right home for your next stage of development.

Step 2 — Choose Your Membership Plan

After your First Steps meeting, you’ll select the DMA Membership plan that best fits your needs.

  • Platinum — 120 minutes coaching per month

  • Gold — 60 minutes coaching per month

  • Silver — 30 minutes coaching per month

Membership is your foundation: ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to sustain your growth and career momentum.

Step 3 — Receive Your Membership Code

Once your membership is set up, you’ll automatically receive a unique code by email. This code is used every time you book your coaching sessions.

Step 4 — Book Your Coaching Sessions

Choose a coach from the DMA Faculty and schedule your first session.

We recommend starting with a Mentoring Session. This allows you and your coach to create a bespoke 3-month plan — a framework to guide your training, audition prep, and career growth.

Step 5 — Complete Your Actor Profile

When booking, you’ll be asked to fill out an Actor Profile. This ensures your coach has the right context to support you from day one.

Step 6 — Payment Process

At checkout, select “Redeem Package or Gift Certificate” and enter your unique membership code.

⚠️ Always enter your code — if it’s missed, the system may charge you at the standard rate.

Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email for your session.

Step 7 — Plan Ahead

We recommend booking your sessions at the start of each month, or on the date your membership renews.

  • If you’d like a consistent weekly coaching slot, simply select Recurring when booking.

  • This ensures your training remains consistent and builds momentum over time.

What’s Not Included in Membership

Industry consultations and mentoring with DMA Founder Dominique Moore are not part of standard membership. These can be booked separately:

FAQ

  • Can I use my membership for both online and in-studio sessions?
Yes — your minutes can be used flexibly for Zoom sessions or in-person coaching at DMA Studio.

  • Can I use my membership for audition prep?
Absolutely. As soon as you receive an audition, it’s a great idea to book with your coach so we can help you prepare at the highest level.

  • Do unused minutes carry over?
No — membership minutes must be used within the month before your next payment date.

  • Can I book extra sessions once I’ve used my monthly time?
Yes — additional sessions can be booked at the standard rate.

  • Can I pause my membership?
No — membership is designed for actors seeking consistent, long-term professional development. If you cancel, you’ll need to complete another First Steps meeting before rejoining.

👉 Alternative: instead of cancelling, downgrade to a lower plan so you remain supported.

  • Should I cancel my membership when I book a job?
No — your DMA membership is designed to support you through your professional work.

  • Coaches can help with script prep, character development, and navigating set life.

  • Sessions can take place on Zoom across time zones.

  • Membership ensures continuity — turning every job into a step forward in your career.

At DMA, success isn’t just about landing the role — it’s about sustaining growth and making the most of each opportunity.
